The forecast had been for 3 inches and we just got a dusting instead, but we couldn't pass up the chance to play. After everyone's online classes were done, we bundled up and went outside. I didn't think there'd be enough to make a snowman, but Christian was determined and we all decided to help. The ears were Bella's last minute idea but I think that the little snow bear turned out pretty cute.
Peter had blueberry pancakes before going out to play and it shows in all the pictures! I don't like to wipe his mouth too often during the day because he has such terrible eczema around his mouth and washing and wiping his face after every meal irritates it too much. Peter doesn't love the cold. He has a hard time walking in snow and he doesn't have the dexterity to really play with it, so he mostly stands or sits around and is always on the verge of crying. We managed to keep him happy, though, and even got him laughing a few times as we threw snowballs to him. Bella's aim was off once and smacked him right in the nose with a snowball. That made him cry for quite a while and she felt so bad. The snowman cheered him up, though, and we ended the day on a good note with a gorgeous sunset lighting up the sky and making the tips of the trees look like they were on fire. So beautiful.
