I think I'm going to stop combing Benjamin's hair during the winter. At least on days he wears hat. I fastidiously comb his hair before we leave each morning, but invariably, as we arrive at our destination, this is what I am left with:

I understand. I am not a winter person and this is just another reason to dislike it. I have a bit of a problem with wanting my kids to be perfectly clean and every hair in place all the time. Now I know this cannot happen, but it doesn't mean that it doesn't still drive me nuts when things are out of place. Benjamin is cute all the time and hey, messy hair is the style. Just think of it as part of his beauty regament.

I just got a quote from our Mortgage guy to refinance to 5.625% with $1,500 in closing costs. With this we'll be able to pay it off in 6 months based on the savings per payment and the interest saved. It may be worth it to look into refinancing right now. Shoot, even if we had to move tomorrow, it would take a year just to sell our home!
Just a note incase you hadn't seen the market for mortgages lately.
